Through the various activities and exercises, children are able to develop their physical, social, and emotional skills while building confidence and having fun.
TODDLER WELCOME ASSESSMENT.
We recommend that young players begin their hockey journey with an introduction toddler welcome assessment. This initial assessment serves multiple purposes, including:
Familiarizing young players with the Nexus Development facility and coaching staff, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Evaluating the child's current skill level, physical abilities, and potential areas for growth. (first time to professional players, everyone starts here)
Establishing a strong rapport between the athlete, coaches, and parents, fostering open communication and collaboration.
We have fun with this!
Following the introduction assessment, our experienced coaching team at Nexus Development collaborates to advise a personalized development model that aligns with the young athlete's abilities, interests, and goals.
Our foundation is built on our long term growth programming.

Regular evaluations help track progress and identify areas for refinement, ensuring a dynamic and responsive approach to development.
At Nexus Development, our priority is to nurture young hockey athletes in a holistic manner, promoting skill acquisition, personal growth, and a genuine love for the game.
